Dr. Lawrence Salvati, Jr., Chair of the inaugural Surfaces and Biomaterials Symposium in 1991, where the Surfaces in Biomaterials Foundation was born, passed away unexpectedly on September 3 in Salt Lake City en route to the BioInterface 2019 Workshop and Symposium. The Foundation was Larry's proudest achievement, and he will be missed by all. The Surfaces in Biomaterials Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Check with your tax professional regarding deductibility of your donation.
