Supporting Members

Supporting and Academic Members are corporations and educational institutions who share in the common goal of supporting the Foundation's efforts and participation in the future of surface biomedical research. The Foundation is organized by industry for the purpose of providing a forum for the presentation of contributions to surface science. The Foundation's unique structure offers Supporting and Academic Members an opportunity to become a voice within the surface biomedical field. As government dollars for research continue to disappear, the burden of research support falls onto the community. This Foundation is based upon mutual respect so that both industry and society may benefit from industrial contribution.

Supporting and Academic Members are welcome to send engineers and scientists to the Foundation's annual event to present and to learn. It is impossible to quantify the indirect benefits garnered from working with other Supporting and Academic Members in conducting the business of the Foundation.

Find your place in the surface science community! For additional information on why you should become a Supporting or Academic Member, please visit the Membership section.
